True Left-handed Shears - Are they right for You? Ever try to switch your manicure scissors to your "other" hand to try to cut your fingernails? They don't work because you have trained your thumb and fingers to to put the right pressure on the handles to force the blades together. Switch hands and you end up forcing the blade apart! It's the same for the larger shears. If you are left-handed and have trained yourself to use right handed scissors, then your normal use of true left-handed shears will force the blades apart so they cut poorly. If you are using right-handed shears - don't switch to true left-handed shears now. You'll have to learn how to use scissors all over again. We offer right handed shears with left-handed handles and right-handed shears with ambidextrous handles below If you are using true left-handed shears now, scroll down a selection of true left-handed shears. |
